Dinosaur Egg

After lunch the children came into the classroom and discovered a note and an egg on the toadstool. The children read the note and discovered it was a dinosaur egg. The note told the children they had to follow the instructions to help the baby dinosaur to grow. With Miss Jones’ support the children followed the instructions. They were very excited and could not wait to see what would happen! The children predicted what dinosaur they thought was inside the egg. They drew a picture of the dinosaur and wrote it’s name using the dinosaur word mat. They circled the features they thought the dinosaur would have using their phonic knowledge to read the words. Over the next few days the children kept an eye on the egg waiting for it to hatch. Great work Kingfishers.
