Year 6 are well under way to being ready to take their statutory tests in English and Maths in the week of May 11th.
Please do encourage them to do the homework sent for the Easter holidays as it will be the starting point of the support club being run on Monday afternoons, starting on 13th May, 3.15-4.30pm, in which all teaching staff will be supporting the children.
We are very aware that for some children this can be quite a stressful time, and the club is their opportunity to talk through any concerns, look at different approaches to answering questions but mainly to show our support of the children.
Last year, we found it very successful to offer a breakfast before the SATS tests each day, so this will be from 8am on 11th—14th may for the Year 6 children—any offers to help or provide supplies are gratefully received!
